When I settled in Vancouver in 2006, I realized that my job as a ski instructor was totally different in this country. My needs for freedom and independence were not aligned with this kind of job. I was looking for another challenge. Then I had a visit from my mom and my brother in September 2009. At that time, my work in construction was taking me a lot of time. I am warmly enthusiastic and imaginative. I see life as full of possibilities. Make connections between events and information very quickly, and confidently proceed based on the patterns I see. A family visit inspired me to create CityQuest and look forward to helping you to have fun and interact with the city.
Gordon received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School for the Contemporary Arts at Simon Fraser University. His work as a music composer and sound designer has been showcased in numerous public venues, including Olympic Games (Torino 2006 and Vancouver 2010), the VanDusen Botanical Gardens Festival of Lights, the New York City Ballet,he was the recipient of a 2013 Leo Award nomination.
Darryl Milot is a native of Vancouver, and has spent the last 12 years working in the costume side of the theatre and film industries. A recent career change has found him in the voice over world, and he is ecstatic to be the narrator of this premier City Quest game! Now the resident voice for all media at Vancouver's Arts Club Theatre Company, he hopes to one day make his way into the animation field.
